Contemporary artists respond to humanity’s first pigment

As the inaugural exhibition of Ochre Contemporary Gallery, OCHRE ORIGINS reflects the gallery’s belief that contemporary art remains deeply connected to humanity’s earliest creative impulses.

By looking back to one of the first pigments ever used, we invite artists to explore where creativity begins and how art continues to shape the way we understand ourselves, our histories and our world.

ART SUBMISSION FORM

All contemporary fine art mediums will be considered, including: Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Sculpture, Photography, Mixed Media, Textile Art, Digital Fine Art and short films.
